☆SPOILER ALERT☆

This is a drama about food :) and there’s Sung Yuri~ woohoo!!! So, I watched these 4 episodes and I really liked this drama! It starts in 1990 and we see a competition for the next chef of Arirang, we see 2 different little girls, one (In Joo) is the daughter of the winner from the competition, and the other one (Yeon Woo) is the daughter of a woman who has a sickness. They’re all in the same ship and many things happen >.< First, the woman who has a sickness will commit suicide. The same night, In Joo went missing. Her mother (the chef) will go crazy and she’ll start to think that Yeon Woo is actually her own daughter In Joo (complicated? not really if you watch the drama XD). This is what happens in episode 1. Oh and there’s also this woman who was in competition with In Joo’s mother, and the woman is mad because she thinks it was unfair… and so she’ll be back in other episodes to make problems(?).

In next episode we’re in 2002… The 2 girls are now teenagers. The new In Joo is living with her parents and she’s learning about cooking. The real In Joo is now called Joon Young and she’s living with a new dad, but he doesn’t really care about her… though she really treats him as her dad. and she’s also learning about cooking, but they’re poor, unlike In Joo’s family. I find her dad really mean >.< He really doesn’t care about her and I hate when he got mad and destroyed everything in the restaurant when Joon Young worked hard to make money for them… I don’t remember if it was episode 2 too, but the dad will find the phone number from Joon Young’s real family and he’ll call them and ask them to come and take Joon Young. In Joo is the first one to answer the phone and she’ll get scared so she’ll do everything so her dad doesn’t answer another phone call (I understand that she wants to stay in their family and be rich, but I hate how she did that!). Finally the real dad will still answer another time and he’ll get all happy, but as expected they’ll not meet because he’ll come a little late and Joon Young left already :s When Joon Young goes back to her house, her dad left too, so she’s alone and she cries :’(

In episode 3, finally we see Sung Yuri as the adult Joon Young!!! Woohoo!!! So happy to see her :3 She’s so pretty >.< We’re now in 2012 and Joon Young is 26 I think (I tried to do the maths haha she was 4 in 1990 so yeah) and In Joo (Seo Hyun Jin) is also 26 but in reality she’s 28 I think (they changed her age to the real In Joo’s age when she joined the family). Now we can see them in their new life ^^ In Joo is trying to become the next chef like her mother, while Joon Young is fishing(?) and helping an old man (she also lives there). and so there’s this guy, called Jae Ha (Joo Sang Wook), who is a childhood friend of the real In Joo and who believes that the new In Joo is the real one, and they’re dating now. In Joo’s mother tries to make a traditional sauce but she can’t find the receipt because there’s one book missing, and it’s the old man who has it (they know each other!). The grandma (the previous chef in Arirang) will send Jae Ha to the old man’s house to get the book, and so Jae Ha will go and meet Joon Young too :D hehe :D Love this couple! They don’t know that they knew each other when they were kids ^^ anyway, they have some cute scenes :) nothing about love but still cute! I like when he was looking at her when she’s cooking ^^

In the 4th episode, Joon Young gets a call from the old man who told her that her dad is back. She went to see him (Jae Ha is with her) and so she’s crying and asking him to stay but he’s leaving again >__> He told her that she’s an adult and she shouldn’t act like this and blabla what an idiot… Anyway her heart is broken because she waited for him 10 years and he just got back for a short time and tells her that she shouldn’t come to see him. eeeh. also, she thought that he came for her but no, he came to sell some of his previous wife’s belongings (she’s dead long time ago and she really loved Joon Young) so after hearing this, Joon Young is shocked and sad, and Jae Ha doesn’t know what to say so he follows her and then left her alone… but then later in night she’s still not there and he went out to the same place and she was still there in the cold :( I don’t like seeing sad Sung Yuri XD *fangirl* anyway, he gave her a piggyback ride (like how they used to do when they were kids! but they don’t know this, lol) and she told him that the air is delicious (and he remembers that In Joo also said this, that the music is delicious etc.) but they still don’t know that they know each other XD The rest of the episode is just him leaving without telling her, she wants to see him again, she stole the book (the grandpa didn’t give it to him) and she went to Seoul to give it to Jae Ha, but Jae Ha doesn’t want it. There’s a big event where In Joo has to cook (on TV I think?) and so they make all preparations in the kitchen, In Joo injured her hand, Jae Ha asked for Joon Young to help and they all realize she’s amazing at cooking even without being chef (yes yes Sung Yuri is the best :D), then later there’s the TV show and In Joo is doing it with Joon Young, but In Joo fails (lol) and so Joon Young does it (like a pro ^^) and this is the end! :3

There’s also this other guy I didn’t talk about, it’s Do Yoon (Lee Sang Woo). He’s weird, he seems like he’s not attracted to any woman XD He was even being mean to Joon Young (can’t he see that Sung Yuri is flawless? lol). But I liked when he told In Joo that she’s not pretty haha (though I think the actress is pretty but I don’t like her character ^^). Anyway he seems related to the woman from first ep (the loser of the competition) because when he saw her, he hid his face… :o!!!

Apparently for next episode, we will see more Joon Young moments, yes! I think she’ll have many moments with Do Yoon (from what we saw). I’m really enjoying this drama, even if not many people seem to watch it! I recommend it! There are 32 episodes in total and I think 17 or 18 episodes aired already. I’m glad I started it now I don’t have to wait every week haha XD but soon I will have to :’( lol.
